Director, East Coast Sales

We are seeking a Director, East Coast Sales.

Philo’s mission is tell compelling stories by combining video entertainment with technology. We work with digital media agencies and brands to produce and distribute branded video content and use innovative video placements to reach people on the digital devices they use most. We work with the best partners and platforms available to ensure our clients video content is viewed by the right audience.

Responsibilities

  • Act as key point person and liaison for all opportunities and business initiatives in the New York/East Coast market.
  • Identify strategic decision makers and cultivate strong, high-level relationships with potential clients to drive and exceed revenue goals.
  • Track and report monthly revenues directly to CRO across all accounts.
  • Collaboratively provide strategic guidance on product enhancements and potential areas for new business.
  • Proactively communicate projections and market intelligence to executive management and the team.

Minimum qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in an advertising sales, business development, and/or online media environment.
  • Existing contacts in major agencies and brands in New York/East Coast market.
  • Ability to work efficiently from satellite office.
  • Some travel required.

You have a proven track record in the New York/East Coast market and have the necessary network to hit the ground running while working independently. You don’t just meet your revenue goals, you exceed them. You have a deep understanding of the industry and a vision for its growth. You are familiar with the various partners, video producers, and technology companies currently in market. You can communicate complex ideas in an elegant, meaningful way for the benefit of internal teams and client discussion.
